About Us
Dignity is a non-profit advocacy group committed to bringing dignity to people who are in recovery or those actively using drugs and alcohol. We provide emergency funding for recovery housing and life-saving medications to assist individuals at a critical point in their lives. We are equally committed to supporting folks and communities affected by this public health crisis.
Our objectives are to start the conversations around substance use in a way that encourages compassionate listening, education, and participation in individual and statewide policy changes.
Ultimately, we are advocating for a philosophical change that includes harm reduction strategies including amnesty, decriminalization, access to naloxone and medication-assisted treatment, needle exchange programs, and overdose prevention sites.
