Over the past two years, dignity for opiate users has been working to create an atmosphere of dignity for active and former opiate users. Too often, people who misuse substances have had their dignity stripped away because our society reinforces the negative perception that they are criminals or moral failures. They experience demeaning and negative treatment, silence, shame, stigma, and discrimination.
We believe everyone has the right to dignity, treatment, justice, and safety. Recovery flourishes in an atmosphere of dignity and respect! One thing you can do to help us achieve this mission is offer a tax deductible donation to help save lives now. This group will continue to brainstorm outrageous and assertive action plans to act now. The strategies will bring our community together to face the opiate crisis in an assertive way. We need you to donate what you can to help move this project forward and save lives in our community.
